Hispanic Mission Construction

This is the interior of Primera Mision Bautista's building after our first day (four hours, really) of work. We had a GREAT turnout for the work day (probably 25 people), and we got a lot of framing done. I just left day two, which also enjoyed good turnout (although not quite as large as yesterday) and high productivity.

The folks from the mission are very excited. Several of them worked today, and the ladies brought us lunch. I'm thankful for their vision to reach the Spanish-speaking people of Farmersville for Christ, and I'm thankful that we can be a part of helping that vision along. We'll have more opportunities to work in the weeks ahead—for sure we can do the drywall work. So if you are inclined to help, whether you are skilled or not (Hey, they let ME work), there's a place for you.

See, Jim, putting up a picture isn't that hard! :-)

Yo Bart,

Yes, you're right. Posting pictures isn't difficult unless you can't get the dang things out of the camera. This Thai computer isn't liking my camera.
