Hi Everyone!
Here's another update from Thailand. I sent out a couple email updates to Tracy yesterday that will be distributed (I hope) pretty soon. This is just a quick recap of yesterday's events just to fill in some of the gaps.
1st - The hotel in Bangkok was really schwanky!!! What a nice way we had to try and catch some sleep prior to starting our first day of work.
2nd - Our van driver was pulled over twice during our travel to town. The first time he was able to bribe the nice police officer. The second time he was less lucky, and accepted a ticket. He didn't seem as happy after the second time.
3rd - PTL !!! Distribution at the peer is back on! See the post of the email from Dave.
4th - Pray diligently for us to be able to make a schedule change in travel for Allison. A situation has come up regarding Tan (details we don't know just yet) that require rather urgent medical attention, and prevents Alli from her extended service out here. Pray for specifically for Tan, and that whatever the situation is, God will do His will in all aspects - with particular focus on comforting her.
4th - We had a very sucessful distribution at the restaurant, with over 50 packets being handed out!!! Everyone on the team had an opportunity to hand out a packet and touch a life for Him.
Today will be filled with work at the Sweat Shop, and distribution at the Peer this evening. Everyone on the team is healthy, rested, and ready for this day. For those of you anxiosly awaiting a phone call from a team member please be patient. We tried last evening only to find our assigned phone doesn't have any minutes. I will get that resolved today! I promise. Just know that we're here safe and sound - AND HEALTHY.
YBIC,
Jim

Great news, Jim! Thanks for keeping us up-to-date. As a new day dawns for you (and ours comes to a close), I pray that God will bless your time of port ministry today. That you are having it at all is already an answer to prayer—who knows what else God will do through it?
